Azure Architect — DevOps & Cloud Engineering
Hands-on Azure Architect role in Chennai: design AKS-based architectures, own DevOps pipelines and IaC for a multi-tenant AI SaaS platform.
Botminds runs an agentic AI platform for lending and credit operations, plus governed document-to-decision work across other industries. That platform lives on Azure, and every customer expects it to be secure, observable, and up. This role owns that.
You will be a hands-on architect, not a diagram-only one. You design the architecture, write the infrastructure code, ship the pipelines, and get paged when something you built misbehaves. You work directly with product and platform teams to keep the platform production-ready as it grows.
What you’ll do
You will design scalable, secure, modular architectures on Azure and make the calls on microservices, APIs, integration patterns, and container strategy on AKS. You own the Azure DevOps pipelines and infrastructure as code (ARM, Bicep, or Terraform), and you set up and run AKS clusters, ACR, VNets, firewalls, and environments across the fleet. CI/CD, monitoring, and automated security configuration are yours to build and keep honest. You will also write production-grade code — Python, .NET, or Node.js — for deployment tooling and platform features, troubleshoot live cloud environments, and hold the line on observability, resilience, and compliance, including governance for customer-specific environments.
What you bring
- 6–10 years across cloud architecture, DevOps, and backend development.
- Deep hands-on Azure experience: AKS, ACR, VNets, DevOps, Storage, and the rest of the core services.
- Strong Docker and Kubernetes skills, plus real backend coding ability.
- Experience running SaaS, multi-tenant systems, and production-grade deployments.
- Nice to have: AI/ML platform exposure, experience abstracting DevOps tooling for multi-tenant environments, and prior startup or product-company time.
