Senior QA Automation Lead

Botminds ships an AI platform that enterprises run credit and document operations on. When the platform is wrong, someone’s loan decision is wrong — testing here carries that weight. We are looking for an automation QA lead with hands-on experience in end-to-end web application testing to own quality across the product.
This is a lead role with real ownership: you pick the tools, design the frameworks, and set the strategy the rest of the QA team executes against.
What you’ll do
You will own the automation testing strategy for the platform — framework selection, tool evaluation, and implementation — and design frameworks that scale with the complexity of a multi-tenant SaaS product. You write and maintain automated tests for functional, regression, and performance coverage, and wire them into CI/CD so quality gates run on every change. You work with QA managers, developers, and product managers on test plans that match real project timelines, drive continuous improvement in how the team tests, mentor QA engineers on automation practice, and report results to stakeholders clearly enough that decisions get made on them. Part of the job is staying current: evaluating new testing tools and techniques and adopting the ones that earn their keep.
What you bring
- 8+ years in automation testing, ideally at product companies building SaaS platforms.
- Proficiency with automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or Cypress, and strong programming in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- CI/CD and version-control fluency (Jenkins, Git), plus deep knowledge of testing methodology as it applies to SaaS.
- Performance testing experience (JMeter, LoadRunner), cloud platform awareness (AWS, Azure, GCP), and familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, Agile/Scrum experience, and the leadership presence to motivate a team.
