Botminds hackathons exist for one reason: the hardest problems in document automation get solved faster when many builders attack them at once. Each event takes a real industry challenge — the kind buried in contracts, forms, statements, and web data — and puts it in front of developers, automation professionals, and AI enthusiasts with the Botminds platform as the toolkit.

How they work

A hackathon announces a problem domain, an eligibility bar, and a prize structure. Teams form, build on the platform, and submit working solutions. The best entries are judged on whether they’d survive contact with the real process they automate — accuracy, completeness of the workflow, and how a human reviewer stays in control of the output.

Participation runs through the Botminds Community. Membership is the entry ticket, and platform certification is typically part of eligibility — which means every team starts with a working knowledge of the platform rather than losing the first day to setup. Winning solutions don’t stop at the demo: strong entries can be published to the Botminds Marketplace, where they become products other teams can adopt.
