Lead AI Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Lead AI Engineer to be a part of our fast-growing team with strong experience and a strong technical background (should be hands-on technically).The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, designing, developing and maintaining scalable web applications, optimizing database schema and staying updated with cutting-edge advancements in ML, LLM and Prompt changing. Additionally, the Lead Lead AI Engineer will provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the organization's AI strategy, including identifying opportunities for AI adoption, defining project goals, and creating a roadmap for AI projects.
• Oversee the design and development of machine learning and deep learning algorithms, ensuring they meet project requirements and deliver meaningful insights or automation.
• Oversee the deployment of AI models into production environments, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and applications.
• Assess and recommend AI-related tools, frameworks, libraries, and third-party services for use in AI projects, considering their compatibility and effectiveness.
• Engage in customer interactions, understanding project briefs, clarifying queries, and addressing escalations from customers worldwide.
• Supervise and coordinate multiple client accounts and projects simultaneously, guaranteeing timely delivery, client satisfaction, and adherence to quality standards.
• Implement tasks as required to streamline and support production.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 4+ years of hands-on experience in AI development, including designing and implementing machine learning models and AI solutions.
• Good experience in front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Proficiency in python, R and C#
• Strong understanding of web development principles, design patterns, and best practices
• Experience with NLP packages and ML frameworks is a big plus
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL) and writing optimized queries
• Familiarity with source control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure) and related services
• Understanding of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Assertive communication and collaboration skills to work in a team-oriented environment
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
